Abbey and Trappist Beers

Strong, blonde or dark, double or triple beers brewed at the monastery (Trappists)
or at a regular brewery under licence of an abbey.

Gueuze and Fruit Beers

Lambic is natural fermented beer from the Brussels area. It is the basis for the gueuze beers and their fruit beers. These beers are unique for Belgium!

Strong Golden and Amber Ales

The Strong Golden and Amber Ales are often the pride of many Belgian breweries. These excellent and flavourish beers (5 to 10% alc) are bottle conditioned.

Whitebeers

White beers are light drinking turbid beers (about 5.5% alc) made with wheat and barley and are quite often spiced with koriander and orange zests.

Brown And Dark Red Ales

Brown and Dark Red Ales are another unique specialty for Belgium. Dark Red ales are made by blending young and older matured beers until the right acid/sweet balance.
