White beers are light drinking turbid beers (about 5.5% alc) made with wheat and barley and are quite often spiced with koriander and orange zests.

Brown and Dark Red Ales are another unique specialty for Belgium. Dark Red ales are made by blending young and older matured beers until the right acid/sweet balance.
